Evaluation Ideas:
Providing students with constant feedback is critical for them to develop and learn. During my third field placement, I ensured to include various assessment tools and provide my students with the necessary feedback to progress. I focused firmly on creating rubrics for my students to follow throughout my field placement. Providing my students with rubrics allowed them to see exactly what is expected and follow a structure when doing their work. I like to keep the same format so that my students know what is expected from them each time around.
Furthermore, I believe strongly in self-assessment. It is essential for me as an educator to know that my students are handing in something they have put the necessary effort in and take pride in their work. Below you will see some assessment tools I have used in my classroom.
